Partner’s mom pointed out to us today that we have to declare each other as spouses on one another’s tax returns (accountants!) because we’re common law married.

No outfits lately..
I feel like I’m in a state of constantly waiting on things.. the problem with having things made to order, I suppose! Only a few more weeks.. :)
I can take comfort in the fact that the weather has been complete poo and I haven’t wanted to wear pretty poufy frilly dresses in it, at least.
But boy oh boy do I have some cute outfits. I have all of my accessories gathered, at least.

nostalgia.
Sometimes I miss Winnipeg terribly.
But I generally miss places that have disappeared.
Besides, Vancouver is a home now and it’s too beautiful to abandon.
I still hold onto the faint hope I may run into Rose Melberg in the street someday.
It’s good to have goals.
Flowers.
I am so overwhelmed by the heady scent of beautiful flowers. Shelb brougth my bouquet upstairs and it is a HUGE one indeed; stuffed with roses, lilies, daisies and hydrangeas. And it’s all I can smell. It’s so pleasant.
I’m also trying to plan something special for my mom’s birthday. A bit tricky when I live half a country away..
